In short, this person needs to be REALLY good at multitasking. Really good with leading and managing people. A good communicator. A highly organized person. Good at computer work. Able to figure things out on your own when needed. This is a big job. We are needing someone that really wants to lead and can handle a lot of responsibility. We are an award winning school and have a fantastic reputation.

Overseeing daily operations of the music school (currently 2 front desk staff and about 25 teachers). Dealing with parent issues as a second point of contact. Weekly staff training. Reporting, monitoring, and auditing payroll hours including sick, vacation and overtime. Scheduling staff hours to make sure there is full coverage at the school. Training new staff members as they come on board. Complete 90 day reviews with staff members. Working and maintaining professional relationships as the main point of contact with contractors and vendors. Interview teachers and run background checks and call references. Mediate any staff conflicts as well as teacher/vendor/contractor issues. Listen to recorded calls for training and quality control. Each week attend a 90min meeting with the owners to discuss the status of the school and report on topics related to teacher, staff, vendors/contractors and customers. Monitor and track inventory for the school. Make orders when needed. Monitor and update multiple daily reports to insure the numbers are accurate.
